Westville now has a whole new look! We still have a little painting to do and more items will be arriving in the coming weeks.
The floor is leveled with lovely new tiles. We've added a Coffee Bar with all new cabinetry. Our Soda Vault will have specials on 2-liters and case pop. Cappuccino machines are now up and running.
We're looking forward to a whole new feeling each and every time you enter Westville J-MARt.

Come to the 10th Annual 2007 Pioneer Land Christmas Open House at LaPorte County Fairgrounds
Saturday & Sunday, December 1st & 2nd, 3 PM to 8 PM
Christmas shop in
J-MARt GENERAL STORE.- Have refreshments in the AMERICAN HERITAGE LOG CABIN
- Visit the blacksmiths making reindeer shoes in the BLACKSMITH SHOP.
- Have refreshments in the FARM BUREAU MILK CABIN.
- Warm up by the stove in the ONE-ROOM SCHOOL HOUSE.
- Write a letter to Santa at the POST OFFICE.
- Visit an 1800's Santa in the AMISH BARN MUSEUM.
Families are encouraged to visit us for this special occasion! Admission is FREE!
DRAFT HORSE WAGON RIDES will be offered both Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting. (Dress appropriately).
The LaPorte County Fairgrounds is on State Road 2, just west of LaPorte. Turn on Zigler Road. Enter Pioneer Land off of Zigler Road at the first left entrance into the fairgrounds. Turn right after the Community Building.

The Seventh Graders are selling Scrip Gift Cards for many establishments locally as well as nationally. Don't run around from store to store, order them all from Wanatah Seventh Grade. The class receives a percentage of each sale.
Cards are for places such as JCPenney, Kohls, Home Depot, Menards, bp, Marriott, Best Buy, Applebees, Burger King, TGIF and hundreds more.
Contact any Wanatah Seventh Grader, visit glscrip.com, or pick up an order blank from Wanatah School. Orders go in on Tuesday mornings and are available for pick up on Fridays.

Oreo Turkeys
24 Oreo Double Stuff cookies
12 miniature peanut butter cups
12 malted milk balls
1 cup candy corn
4 ounces chocolate frosting
4 ounces white frosting
red food coloring
Assembly:
- Place one Oreo cookie as the base. Put one teaspoon of chocolate frosting on top.
- Place one small peanut butter cup on its side so that the top and bottom are perpendicular to the base and stuck in the frosting. Place a teaspoon of chocolate frosting on the top (widest part) of the p-butter cup.
- Stick some candy corn pointy side down into the Oreo 'stuff' of the second cookie along one edge for the feathers. They should fan out around the edge. If necessary, use some white frosting to help them stick.
- Place this second Oreo cookie (the tail) on its edge sticking to a dab of brown frosting on the back of the peanut butter cup.
- Place a dab of chocolate frosting on top of the peanut butter up (for the head). Place a malted milk ball on top for the head.
- Mix red food coloring with a small amount of the white frosting in a separate dish.
- Use a toothpick with the white and red colors to place eyes and wattle. You can pinch off the small pointy top of a candy corn and dip it in brown frosting for the beak.
- Your turkey is complete!
